I spent a lovely afternoon volunteering at the South Belfast Lantern Parade in The Ulster Museum and Botanic Gardens. What a super way to end the school term and bring the local community together. The turn out was fabulous, so thank you if you came - the children seemed to really love the lantern making activities (I think I still have coloured paper stuck to me!). Congratulations to the group of individuals who organised the event - you had a great vision and achieved it beautifully!
