We are fortunate to be able to work in primary and secondary schools both large and small all over Northern Ireland, but it has to be said that Ballyholme Primary School, at over 600 pupils is definitely one of the largest in the primary sector. After meeting with Principal David Hewitt to plan a photography day, I thought that I might need to bring my roller skates and a maybe Sat Nav to zoom around the many corridors! But as it turned out the day ran incredibly smoothly and I was able to capture lots of great activities as they were happening (always preferable to lots of 'staging').
I have the opportunity to see tremendous talent in all of the schools that we work in, but I was absolutely mesmerised by the flawless Senior Choir practice session - it almost brought me to tears! (then I remembered that I was there to take photographs and not just watch!).
The school has utilised the photographs brilliantly on their newly designed website - (click here to view). We designed and produced internal photo wall boards and large scale external signage for them also.
I hope to be back to hear the choir again soon!
